Placing an order

Items under "BUY NOW" may be purchased immediately. For custom orders, use the “Order / Inquiry Form” at the top of the homepage to place an order.  We will email you to confirm your order.  After details of the order have been agreed upon, you will receive an invoice.  A design sheet that includes digital or hand drawn images of the cookies may be provided upon request after the invoice is paid. 

 

Payment and order confirmation

Full payment is due 48 hours after the invoice is sent. If the invoice is sent within 72 hours of delivery/pick up date, the invoice must be paid immediately.  We will not start orders until invoice is paid.  Failure to pay by the due date may result in a cancellation of your order or delay in processing your order.  Please note that your order is not confirmed and your date is open to other customers until payment is received.  

 Partial payment may be coordinated for large quantity orders.

 

Cancellations and changes

Orders must be cancelled 2 full weeks prior to delivery or shipment date to receive a refund. Orders cancelled less than 2 weeks will be subject to a 50% or less refund. The cost of special supplies, design sheets provided and custom cookie cutters will reduce the refund. 

Changes are allowed up to 1 week prior to delivery or shipment date. Changes to the date or designs within 1 week are based on availability and may be subject to a change fee. We try to accommodate all orders when possible. Contact us for availability. When paying the invoice, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

Pickup / Delivery

There are designated free pickup sites in Grayson and Monroe. Otherwise, the following delivery rate guidelines apply.  Price may increase depending on order size and time of day.

$20 and up for deliveries more than 25 miles

There is no delivery to residential addresses.

  

Shipping

Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS. Once the order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number. We have no control over the order once the carrier has possession of the package.  Contact USPS/UPS Customer Service for more information if there are delays during transit. 

All items that are shipped are subject to break. Extra care is taken to wrap each cookie in bubble wrap to ensure the order is packed well.  There are no refunds for cookies that arrive late due to transient delays. When paying the invoice (deposit or full payment), you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

 

Allergens

Our treats are not made in a nut free facility. They may come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. Items may be prepared with gloves, containing latex, vinyl or other materials. You agree to notify anyone consuming these treats of this risk and hold The Dainty Plum harmless for any allergic reactions.

 

Photographs

We photograph most orders and display the pictures on our website or social media platforms. If you prefer that we not display photos of your order, please contact The Dainty Plum via email (info@thedaintyplum) and opt out before shipment or delivery.
